Interesting judging, all dogs got the same written critique. It was impossible to find out if it was a top placed dog or a plain ck when you read the critique.

For me it was a totally new experience to show a flatcoated retriever. Maja did really well standing, but wasn't her normal self in moving. I think that she was overwhelmed by all new impressions, even if she has been with me to several shows as a spectator.
It was great to get an Excellent, especially with such a great written comment.

It's just the way it is - my dogs don't like wet grass and wind. But the conditions were the same for all dogs. 
The good thing was that Pluto was (again) beaten by his son Picasso-Italia that became BOS.

Both Pluto and Sara did really well. They were in the mood today and showed themselves perfectly. (A bit thanks to the wonderful weather.)
But the judge thought they were a bit small with not fully filled heads and not fully parallell in front movements.
Instead it was the day for Pluto's son Picasso-Italia that went BOB from intermediate class. In the group final he was superb, but wasn't placed. But that will come!

Sara became Swedish champion (SE UCH) today!
She has been shown five times since March. She has  been placed in Best Bitch every time, twice being BOB and once being BOS.

Interesting thing - none of the participating champions got ck.

Pluto got very nice words, but he didn't move to his advantage today.
Sara was very brave in the weather. She was picked for both "best movements" and "best head and expression". She ended up winning "best head and expression"!

Pluto got very nice words from sighthound specialist Göran Bodegård.
And it was really fun that BOS with CAC and CACIB went to Pluto's son - Picasso-Italia. It was fun to show him. He is a great mover and with some more experience and training he will have many more wins.

Pluto did well - as always. This judge wanted a bit more of him overall (he is just 34.5 cm) and she especially wanted more generous rear angulation.

I also showed his little (34 cm) black sister Sara (Mannequin's Quella Quarzo).  She ended up being BOB with CAC and CACIB. The judge just loved her - and I don't blame her.  :-)

Pluto did well (as always) at his first show for the year. This was for the same judge that gave him his first CAC almost  two years ago. Her comments about him were more or less the same this time. She told me that she wanted him a bit bigger. (He is just under 35 cm.)

After a great show year Pluto (Ch Mannequin's Quello Quando Quando) ended up as:
- No 2 on the male list
- No 5 on the total list

A nice little detail is that the only time that the most winning IG 2012 wasn't BOB was when she was BOS against Pluto.
